This purpose is one that brings many fathers and father-figures to campus to begin with. Keeping our children safe is something we all care about. We also need to make sure we are serving the campus in a way that is nurturing, comforting and not reminding our children of dangers. Our goal is to make it easier for them to learn.
We will come back to this topic frequently, but with different perspectives each time. We hoped to have a School District Police Lieutenant join us for this call but it did not work out. We did get some great input from some parents and some things to think about as we are on campus in our role as WATCH D.O.G.S.
