LAUNCHING AN OFFICIAL WATCH D.O.G.S.® PROGRAM?

Our programs for Elementary and Secondary School campuses help engage the entire campus community using the strategy of focusing on fathers and father figures. Our tools and team have brought millions of positive male role models into the hallways and classrooms of American campuses. This demonstrates for the students that education is important because they see parents and guardians, including the dads, take time to show up and serve. We provide training content, support materials, uniform apparel, and other promotional items for your campus community. We also offer ongoing support for the campus as the leadership team there works to build a community and culture of participation and inclusion. Our goal is to bring this program and the proven benefits it provides to every campus community in America; For Every Child in America.

WATCH D.O.G.S.® is a national initiative and trademark. We hope you and your campus will join us!

Welcome to Dads of Great Students

The Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® program is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations designed and developed by educators, experts and parent & guardian volunteers over more than two decades.

Our programs for Elementary and Secondary School campuses help provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Meanwhile, we provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction.

We provide training content, support materials, uniform apparel and other promotional items for your campus community. Our mission is to support principals and teachers by providing willing volunteers while contributing to improved outcomes for students.

Who are Watch D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students)?

Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures serve on campus for one day or many each year under the leadership of a program coordinator and under the guidance of a school principal or designated administrator. Our program speaks directly to those care-givers and guardians who are statistically less likely to come onto campus to volunteer.
